President Obama has announced his intention to nominate Marisa Demeo as an Associate Judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Ms. Demeo during her tenure as regional counsel for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund clearly showed that her views where radically outside the mainstream of American political thought.

America needs federal judges who maintain a balanced view and who will not promote a radical political agenda.

Therefore, I urge you to vote against the nomination of Marisa Demeo to the DC Superior Court when it comes up before the Senate.
