Note:

1. Unless otherwise requested all subscribers are sent their Bulletin in this format which consist of a cover page index of articles with a PDF attachment containing the actual Bulletin. Since the Bulletin normally runs over 60 pages (about 1.5 MByte) this eliminates rejection by some servers because of size. However, not all subscribers can deal with attachments that contain PDF documents. Those who cannot can request receipt in “TEXT” format which is a straight email message (without photos or highlighting) with Word file attachments that contain photos and highlighting until they obtain the capability to open PDF files.

2. New subscribers and those who submit a change of address should receive a “Test” message in PDF format of the last Bulletin sent to ensure they are able to receive the Bulletin at the email addee they provided. If you do not receive the “Test” message within 3 days it indicates that either I never received you request or your server will not allow me to send the PDF Bulletin to the email addee you provided. Anyone who cannot reach me by email can call (951) 238-1246 to ask questions or confirm info needed to add them to the directory.

3. Bulletin recipients with interest in the Philippines can request to be added to the RAO’s Philippine directory for receipt of Clark Field Space ‘A’, U.S. Embassy Manila, and Tricare in the RP notices.

4. To obtain past Bulletin articles, which are available on request to raoemo@sbcglobal.net, refer to the RAO Bulletin Index alphabetically listing of article and attachment titles previously published in the Bulletin. The Index is available under pinned topics at http://s11.zetaboards.com/CFLNewsChat/forum/27519/

5. To aid in continued receipt of Bulletins recommend enter the email addee raoemo@sbcglobal.net into your address book to reduce the possibility of future Bulletins being blocked by your computer’s or server’s spam filters. If you should not receive a future Bulletin check http://sjcvets.zymichost.com/index.html for the PDF Edition or http://www.veteransresources.org/rao-bulletin for the Website Edition in Word format before sending me an email asking if one was published. Note the Veterans Resources site does not normaly post the Bulletin until 2 to 5 days of the date I send out the latest Bulletin. . The Bulletin is normally published in the 1st and 15th of each month. If you can access the Bulletin at either site it indicates that something is preventing you from receiving the Bulletin email message I sent to you. Most likely as a result of its size. In that case you need to call your server and ask what you have to do to receive the Bulletin through their service. If unsuccessful, let me know for further guidance. Bear in mind that the articles listed at these sites were valid at the time they were written and may have since been updated or become outdated.
