Despite courageous service since the creation of the Army Nurse Corps in 1901, many women still feel like “invisible veterans.”
To help right this wrong, DAV is rallying around women veterans in honor of Mother's Day. This group of veterans has struggled long and hard for respect and care.
Yet that has never dampened their patriotism, or their fighting spirit, Roger.

In fact, more women than ever are answering the call. By 2040 it’s estimated that nearly 1 in 5 veterans will be women!
They’re among the many veterans — yourself included — who will require DAV advocacy in the years ahead!
DAV believes all veterans — you and every one of us who served and sacrificed — must get the same honor and benefits.
No one is more trusted by these brave women than our organization whose ranks are filled, at every level, with women veterans who stand up for their own!
I hope you’ll want to learn more about what DAV does for all veterans as you join our live webinar on DAV resolutions.
No one is a stauncher ally of all who served than DAV, and that includes our sisters in arms. Further, women veterans trust DAV, in whose ranks they find their own serving with pride at every level! That’s a proud record, Roger.
Honoring the Service of Every Veteran!
