Our Leaders' Society is a group of motivated Native American youth who are inspired to take action and make a difference in their world. They believe in creating and sustaining a culture of lifelong leadership development, training, and education.
Carl, a 17-year-old Leaders' Society member, expresses it best when he states, "I want to actually make a difference in my community." These youth are our future, and we believe in their ability to bring about change.
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to sponsor one or more of our Native youth as they travel to Denver, Colorado, this summer for the 2017 National UNITY Conference, the largest Native youth gathering in the country, promoting personal development, citizenship, and leadership among Native American youth.
Your support will help fund the travel expenses of aspiring leaders, like Carl, giving them the opportunity to be inspired and empowered by joining together with like-minded Native youth from around the country.
- With a gift of $10 toward trip expenses, you’ll receive 3 raffle tickets for the drawing of a hand-stitched Native Hope quilt.
- With a gift of $35 or more toward trip expenses, you’ll receive a Native Hope t-shirt as our personal thank you.
- With a gift of $100, you’ll receive a Native Hope drawstring backpack and t-shirt, plus 10 raffle tickets.
- With a gift of $500, you’ll send 1 youth to the UNITY Conference and also receive a hand-stitched Native Hope quilted keepsake.
