TAKE ACTION: Speak up for bees, oceans and clean water

Earthjustice

When we put out the call to speak up for our public lands and waters after the Trump administration issued an executive order that threatened the designation of 27 national monuments, Earthjustice supporters gave an overwhelming response. In fact, you joined over 2 million people across the country calling for the protection of our national treasures. Now we need you to lend your voice once again to speak up for the bees and our food system, the oceans, clean drinking water, and border communities:

Toxic pesticides are killing bees—urge the EPA to actA mounting number of studies show that bees are dying at an alarming rate, due in large part because of neonicotinoid exposure. This is bad news for beekeepers and many agricultural crops that depend on bees, the planet’s most important pollinator. The EPA is reviewing four of the most widely-used bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides. The agency wants to know what the public thinks about these toxic pesticides, so this is your chance to save the bees.

Our marine monuments and sanctuaries are under attackOur marine sanctuaries and monuments conserve treasured places within our oceans and Great Lakes. Don’t let the Trump administration open these areas up for destructive oil and gas drilling, undersea mining, and commercial fishing.

Fund communities and natural landscapes not senseless wallsThe 2,000-mile stretch of land between the U.S. and Mexico contains one of the most diverse ecosystems in North America with wildlife such as the endangered Mexican gray wolf, jaguar, bighorn sheep, and ocelot calling it home. It is also where President Trump wants to build a 30-foot border wall. We need your help to stop it.
