MITO roll-out
This video is for you B-52 guys. It will bring tears to your eyes...It is a 15 ship MITO at Minot AFB, ND... (For those that receive this email and were not in the AF, MITO means Minimum Interval Take Off.) During the cold war if the President had to launch the on-alert bomber force, they had 15 minutes to get them all off. They went down the runway at 15 seconds apart...Enjoy. .. (note: If General Curtis LeMay had still been the commander of SAC, they would have 10 minutes to take off - this man and his organization provided the best deterrent to any would-be enemy of the United States)
